London Bridal Fashion Week 2019

London Bridal Fashion Week has come and gone and our team was lucky to have attended One Fine Day Bridal Market, an exclusive trade-show experience in East London. We got a chance to speak to some of the most exceptional bridal designers who displayed their meticulously crafted garments and hand-made accessories – all of which absolutely took our breaths away.

We would like to express our everlasting support for the independent designers that continuously embrace slow fashion and work hard to create garments of superb quality that are ethically sourced and last. As Ender Legard puts fashion responsibility at its core, we curated a short list of the event’s highlights. If you are in the process of searching for your wedding dress, veil or hair accessories, make sure to check out these incredible bridal brands…

One of the first amazing designers we had an opportunity to chat to was Keely and her team from Luna Bride. Their model looked absolutely beautiful wearing their newest delicate ivory gown with a stunning low-cut back. If you are thinking of throwing a bohemian wedding, or if you are looking for a dress that gives off romantic and feminine feels, make sure to check out their Luna Beach wedding dress. It will work great with our backless bodysuits which too promise intricate and breathable fabrics – ideal for a beach ceremony!

Katya-Bo-Luna

Contemplating on having another glass of Prosecco, we stumbled upon Shannon and Catherine from Bo & Luca, an Australian bridal brand specializing in slow luxury. Not only was their floral display absolutely stunning, but we were completely mesmerized with the detailed embroidery of the dresses they showed us! We were positively surprised hearing their pieces are hand-dyed and created to honour the ancient craft art of India. What an amazing story behind the brand!

In an intimate and very welcoming area decorated with white lilies, we had a chat with Katya Sherurina of Katya Katya London. She displayed her unique selection of lace and silk wedding gowns that are a perfect combination of vintage and timeless flair. From bridal separates to soft tulle princess dresses – anything a bride-to-be could wish for! Visit their website to see some unconventionally colourful and floral-themed gowns of the spring/summer 2019 collection entitled “Back to Tuscany”. They offer dresses in all the pastel hues you could imagine!

WhiteLilly

At ExCel London, a world-leading bridal fashion event, we spoke to Jacelyn Gozadinos, designer and owner of White Lilly Atelier. Jacelyn was exhibiting her couture bridalwear that is designed and hand-crafted in the atelier in South Africa. It’s difficult to find as equally irresistible collection as Not All Who Wander – bohemian chic fashion with a modern twist. If that sounds appealing to you, discover the magical allure of her wedding gowns on her website.

If you want to immerse yourself in the world of ethical and sublime bridal fashion, check out our Bridal Fashion Week highlights posted on our recent Instagram stories and see some of the behind-the-scenes photographs from the event! Who knows? Maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of your future wedding dress…
